The purpose of this article is to explain the way to obtain that magnificent and estimable result. Indeed, if only static potential energy enters into a machine, it means that external forces do not consume any work and it is equivalent to say that this machine has an infinite COP, i.e. it is “a perpetual engine”. Suppose an engine placed in a potential field, which can be indifferently : the gravity field, the electrical field, the magnetic field, while the objects constituting the rotating parts of the motor are respectively: a mass, an electrical charge, a permanent magnet or any coil producing a magnetic field. The following diagram gives the concept of the engine.
